Where to go Camping Guide

We love to see troops in GTC come to Manatoc, especially for Summer Camp. But we know you have times when you don’t come to Manatoc or Butler. Hopefully you aren’t going to the same old place you’ve been going for years. That place that isn’t really that fun, but it’s easy since you’ve been doing it for so long.

Here’s how we want to help. We are now collecting information from EVERY TROOP about where they go (and have gone) camping. We want to collect this data and organize it into a guide broken down by theme and location. This guide, once complete, will be available here on Marnoc.org for you and all other troops to view.

While you are thinking about it, you may want to rack your brain or ask other leaders in your troop about some places you’ve gone lately.

High-Adventure Clearinghouse

Introducing Marnoc’s High Adventure Clearinghouse. Now you can post your high-adventure trips on a bulletin board operated by Marnoc Lodge. Here, you can post information about your trip as well as any slots you have open.

Scouts and Scouters can then check postings to see if there are any trips they would like to attend. This creates an easy way to alleviate two of the biggest problems units and scouts face when trying to go on a big trip.
